I love a good clip on tuner for festivals and busy places, but no tuner works as well as my iPhone app for real “fine” tuning. This is a device that hooks onto your strings and can hold your phone, tuner, or metronome. Convenient when tuning, so you don’t have to keep turning your head or find a place to wedge the phone. Great for keeping a metronome front and center while you practice. It’s easy to move around. It has a non-slip rubber pad on the front and back to keep it from vibrating and hold your phone in place. Works with your phone landscape or portrait mode.

I would not recommend using it for a heavy tablet.
